I am a bad blogger

I never seem to find time to blog but I'm sneaking in a few mins now.
What's new? not much I guess just time passing quickly, see my baby's updated pics above in the header. She's over 1 yr old now and I honestly can't believe how fast the year went. Now, the debate (in my mind) is whether to have a 2nd. I swear last week I was resigned to having just one and really felt great about it. Now I'm not so sure...I change my mind from day to day.
One thing is certain, I need to lose some (ok, a lot) of weight regardless of possibly getting pregnant again.

We're Moving - Finally!

OMG, I can’t believe we’re finally moving into a house. We went to open houses for about 3 years and I was really getting sick of it. But our new house is everything we were looking for pretty much, comparable to what we both grew up with. Simple things like a dining room, central air, a garage, a backyard…I don’t think these things are too much to ask for. I guess we were pretty luck to grow with these things, some people never have them. So I do feel lucky and can’t wait to settle in. The only decorative thing we’re gonna do before moving in, is paint Olivia’s room. Right now the little room she’ll be in is a dark teal, we’re gonna brighten it up…not sure what color yet but we got loads of paint samples yesterday from Home Depot. (ofcourse I’m already thinking what our next project will be…I’ve gotta stop watching all those renovation shows on HGTV and DIY ;)

Dedication - For my Mom

My first (new) entry on this blog is a dedication. I named this blog after my Mom whose name was Vincenza, hence VinsBin. (My daughter’s middle name happens to be Vincenza also). My Mom - where do I start – she was the best and I miss her presence in my life every day. I still think it’s so unfair that she got cancer and succumbed to it 8 yrs ago. But, I’m grateful for the short time we had and hope she knows how much I appreciated everything she did for me, even though I didn’t tell her enough while she was alive. She’s our guardian angel now.
